(and by you I mean me)

2014

Two performers painted opposing walls of a small room over the course of an evening, working clockwise around the space so that their strokes would continually be covering their previous work as well as the previous work of the other performer. The room was lit by one bulb on an automatic “sunrise timer,” which gradually brightens and dims in 20-minute cycles. Audience members viewed the piece by standing on ladders that allowed them to peer over the walls of the room.
