Sit In / Walk Out
2016-ongoing
An ongoing series of collaborations with student and community groups to identify and practice the aesthetic and performative strategies used in resistance movements. In these collaborations, resistance is approached as a creative form, in which skills and literacy can be built and applied to a multitude of subjects. This project has manifested in various ways, including durational public performances, guerrilla projection workshops, monumental inflatable sculptures, temporary monuments, and interventions in commercial signage.
