SPECTRE details an episode of temporary psychological dissociation the artist experienced after using machine learning tools to generate artificial images of human faces. The publication features two accounts of the event, one written by the artist and one written by a ghostwriter purporting to be the artist. Their doppelgänger essays are presented on opposing sides of the publication.
